Thoroughly Modern Millie is a high-spirited musical romp that has all of New York dancing the Charleston.

Taking place in New York City in 1922, it tells the story of a young Millie Dillmount, who has just moved to the city in search of a new life for herself.

It's a New York full of intrigue and jazz - a time when women were entering the workforce and rewriting the rules of love. Based on the popular movie starring Julie Andrews.

"Just like her stage work, Sutton's drawings can be appreciated on two unique levels. From afar, they suggest a moment caught in time, a portrait of nature. But look closely at the details involved and you can appreciate the hard work it takes for Sutton to make it look so easy."

"If the song list is eclectic, so is the singer. You know that magical quality of morning light after a night of torrential downpour?

Redemptive. Pure. Joyful, but hard-won by having survived the rain."
