Synopsis:

The plot of Grease revolves primarily around the attraction between greaser Danny Zuko and the virtuous Sandy Dumbrowski. If ever ther was a stage show to grab the audience and get them on their feet, Grease is definately the word.

Sutton Foster was featured in the ensemble and understudied the roles of Betty Rizzo and Sandy Dumbrowski in the Broadway production of Grease at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. She then went on the road with the National Tour and played the role of Sandy for audience around North America.

"Just like her stage work, Sutton's drawings can be appreciated on two unique levels. From afar, they suggest a moment caught in time, a portrait of nature. But look closely at the details involved and you can appreciate the hard work it takes for Sutton to make it look so easy."

"If the song list is eclectic, so is the singer. You know that magical quality of morning light after a night of torrential downpour?

Redemptive. Pure. Joyful, but hard-won by having survived the rain."
